Hi! I'm your Friendly Fascist Candidate for Senate. You might have seen me in any number of Tea Party rallies, conventions, conferences, or just shakin' hands 'round your neighborhood gun shop. I'm a nice lookin' guy, kinda like you might see in the movie version of Oklahoma! playin' Curly. Heck, I get told I've got the voice of an angel all the time, so wouldn't be too far off the mark. You mighta heard me say some pretty interesting things lately 'bout stuff that's pretty interesting. Like the Civil Rights Act. I think that's an interesting piece of legislation. I mean, what's interesting is that one tenth of that law mandates equality in places of business that are privately owned. Isn't that interesting? The law says if you come into my store and you've got dark skin, I have to treat you equal. Now, I'm not a racist, and I abhor racism! That's why I fired my spokesman. You know, the guy that put that e-mail message out on Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday with the picture of a black man hanging from a tree saying Happy N--er Day? See, we don't need laws telling us how to behave. We can behave ourselves. That's why I'm running for Senate, and why so many other people who want to get rid of Government are running for Government. We want to pass laws to repeal laws that people fought to pass so they could be treated equal because we abhor the unequal treatment of people and we can treat them equal on our own without the Government telling us we have to. I'm your Friendly Fascist Candidate and I want you to vote for me this November! ...And just a word of advice if you're not plannin' on votin' for me: Don't go to the polls after dark, 'specially in Kentucky.
